it’s official…

Major kudos to the La Jolla Historical Society’s Landmark Group, led by Dr. Shona McArthur, Dr. Molly McClain, and Dr. Diane Kane, for their unwavering dedication and perseverance in achieving what once seemed impossible. The coastal park and trail area within the village has been officially recognized on the National Registry of Historic Places—a well-deserved honor cementing its significance for generations to come.

This landmark designation is more than just a title; it opens the door to state and federal grants that can help fund crucial restoration and preservation efforts. Their hard work has created a lasting impact, and we are deeply grateful for their commitment to protecting La Jolla’s rich history and natural beauty. Thank you for your passion, vision, and determination!
